Smart Post Update

ATTENTION DRIVERS

Starting 4/1/17 if you are bringing back 1 (one) Orlando SmartPost load and 1 (one) Orlando Ground load, you can come to the Orlando yard first, if you are going to arrive to Orlando SmartPost no later than 7 P.M.

· You will be required to take the SmartPost load to SmartPost, and bring an empty back to the Orlando yard. We will create a hookslip for you to be able to get out the gate.

· Process will work as normal dispatch process already occurs.

· This will allow for safer maneuvering in the SmartPost yard.

· Everything from the SmartPost yard will be set up via the AVR, and you will be expected to use AVR. If you are unable to dispatch, you will be required to call for dispatch.

· If you have 2 (two) loads for Orlando SmartPost, then you will be required to go directly to SmartPost.

· If you are unable to arrive to SmartPost before 7 P.M., then you will be required to go directly to SmartPost.

· This was a request from the monthly Contractor Safety meeting, please follow the process and I think this will improve safety at the Orlando SmartPost yard.
